The cabin is located in Timber Lakes, a private cabin recreation area.  In Timber Lakes nightly rentals are illegal, however The Aspen Moose is a grandfathered legal vacation rental.  Because of this distinction we are held to a high standard of cleanliness, our hot tub water is tested for cleanliness in a lab and we work to make the cabin the best experience for our guests.

The cabin is 15 minutes from downtown Heber City which is home to a few grocery stores, regrettably a Walmart and a lot of local mom and pop shops.  5 minutes from Heber is Midway, an iconic Swiss themed city with a lot of great charm.  There are a lot of options for food, nice restaurants to greasy spoons.

Heber is a cow town coming into a resort town, so it hosts rodeos and the like, which, if you can time your vacation to those events make sure you get tickets- they sell out in hours.
